National Firefighter Registry for Cancer
Firefighters face a significantly elevated risk of cancer due to occupational exposures. The National Firefighter Registry (NFR) is a voluntary, confidential program established by Congress to better understand the link between firefighting and cancer. Your participation helps researchers identify risk factors, improve protective measures, and ultimately save firefighter lives.
PFFG strongly encourages all Georgia fire fighters — career and volunteer — to enroll. Registration takes about 20 minutes and your information is protected under federal privacy law.
